KP AutoServicing — the terms you agree to when you book

These terms apply when you book a service, repair or roadside assistance with KP AutoServicing through this website, WhatsApp or over the phone.
Submitting the booking form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. We review every request and confirm it — or come back to you with a different time — before the work is booked in. You will get a link to your own job page where the current status is always visible.
Some bookings ask for a deposit of £20 to hold the slot. It comes off the final bill. If we cannot do the work, or we cancel, the deposit is refunded in full. If you cancel with reasonable notice we will refund it; for a cancellation with no notice, or if nobody is there when we arrive, we may keep it to cover the wasted journey and the slot we turned down.
A quotation is based on the fault as described and what we can see before starting. If we find something the quote did not cover, we will stop and tell you before doing any further work — you will never receive a bill for work you did not agree to. Quotations are valid for 30 days.
Payment is due on completion unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We accept cash, card and bank transfer. Where a bank transfer is used, please quote the job reference so we can match it to your job.
We carry out work with reasonable care and skill, to the standard you are entitled to expect. Parts we supply carry the manufacturer's warranty. Tell us promptly if something is not right after a job and we will put it right.
Vehicles are worked on at your risk as to pre-existing faults, corrosion and wear — a seized or corroded component can fail during otherwise correct work, and we will always tell you if we think that is a risk before starting. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost earnings or hire costs. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
